Hello everyone. I am Rodney Bone at present living on an island in the South Atlantic Ocean known as St Helena. Let me tell you a bit about it. It lies at longitude 5° 45’ west and latitude 16° 00’ south, between Africa and South America.
St Helena is a british colony which is served only by ship, the RMS St Helena. However there are plans in hand to create an Airport and hopefully have it open shortly after 2010, although it has yet to be built.
We have a bank but no credit cards, the bank is not at present internet friendly but money can be transferred overseas back and forth through the bank. That is if you actually have it, here the salaries are low the cost of living is high and it is hard to keep ones head above the water.
Still I am going to try to move to UK because that is where I was born in 1965. I have a son 17 and a daughter 19 and a granddaughter16 months and I want to bring them to UK also.
